Some time ago I subbed a video of Shiina Ringo and Matsuura Aya on the show Music Station. If you've seen it you'll probably know that the quality of the video was bad lol
So for the second time, a dedicated fan of Matsuura Aya has decided to redo it with a high quality version of the video for your viewing pleasure. Unfortunately this version doesn't have the song performance by Shiina Ringo with her band Tokyo Jihen but is still much nicer to look at compared to mine.

Video Subbing: SHIINA RINGO & MATSUURA AYA on MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE 2005
Hey there, here's another short video today. The good thing about small videos are that I can pretty much finish one and post it up everyday. This video is of Matsuura Aya and one of my favourite musicians, Tokyo Jihen (and Shina Ringo) on the show Music Station. Every year, this show has a concert called 'Super Live' where they invite many of the stars of that year and play live on TV.
I didn't translate the Tokyo Jihen song as it's quite complicated and sort of cryptic. It was also written in olden style Japanese in some parts and basically, it was too hard for me.....Since I didn't translate that one I didn't think it would be fair to translate Matsuura's song either. Well to be honest I was kind of lazy.....

Video Subbing: SHIINA RINGO ON MUSIC STATION 2000
Here's my subbed video of Shiina Ringo singing "Tsumi to Batsu" (Crime and Punishment) on Music Station all the way back in the year 2000.

MISO
Miso is type of Japanese seasoning made from fermented rice, barley and/ soy beans. It looks like (usually) a brown or orange paste and tastes very salty. You'll probably know that Japanese people make soup out of this (just dissolve the paste in water). However, you may not have realised that there are different types of miso. The main two are red miso and white miso, but there are a few other flavours....well it's really how strong the flavour is rather than a difference in the actual taste (Well, maybe a little bit. I haven't tried all of them).
RED miso is saltier than WHITE miso.
Personally I like White miso more.....Red one is too salty and....dunno just don't like it much.
Not that my opinion really matters :p
EXTREME IMAGES.......LIKE NURSES
They were talking about societies image of Shiina Ringo and that this is due to how she presents herself through her music. Tamori says that what she does is extreme, to which Shiina responds with something like
"Really..? Like nurses?".
If you're a fan of Shiina Ringo then you probably understood what this was about but if not, it's referring to the music video for 'Honnou' (Instinct). She dresses as a nurse and does some erotic stuff with another lady.....
