G'day people,
Time for another Gaki video from us at J-Burogu.
In this episode, the Gaki staff investigate allegations that Tanaka has become highly disturbed after the comments made by Matsumoto in "100 Things About Matsumoto" segment. Tanaka is followed by Gaki cameras for about a week to determine why and how Tanaka has changed so suddenly and drastically.
This was a nice surprise of an episode from recent Gaki episodes (oh crap, it's from like 1-2 years ago now haha), it features Tanaka's as he convincingly portrays a character highly unlike him.

ReplyDeleteAny chance on subbing another Suberanai Hanashi? I recently found out that they did 24 of these. Recently just last month.
Is this one of those episodes where a Gaki member makes a painfully dull acting role as something he is not? Like when they "stalked" Matsumoto at night or actually any anger outbreak from Matsumoto for that matter?
ReplyDeleteI don't know, these episodes feel way too staged. I know, exactly that's supposed to be the joke, but it's kinda lame for 25 mins straight.

DeleteI only just recently found this site after my girlfriend suggested watching Ametalk. I'm a big fan of Downtown so thank you for subbing these episodes. I can see that you have put in a lot of effort over the years to keep subbing these different Japanese shows and I think you are doing a great job.

After watching the episodes you subbed I am now hooked, but have been searching like crazy for more subbed episodes. There are no other episodes available at all on the internet, I only managed to find a lot of Ametalk RAWs on Drama-Addicts. Do you know of any subbers such as yourself or subbing groups who translate Ametalk?

DeleteAs for Ametalk, I'm not aware of any subbers who regularly work on Ametalk. I only recall shibatabread (I think) doing one about comedians who suck at drawing, but I think it got pulled off dailymotion, which is where he uploaded it. I'm not sure if it's still available.
Maybe ask people on the Gaki fans forum if they have it, since there are lots of Japanese tv fans there?
Unfortunately, I think that one, and the ones I have done are basically the only ones subbed.
I hope you were able to get all the ones on my site. It seems like I need to reupload a few (or all maybe?) of the ametalk episodes, but there are a few copyright issues regarding that which makes it hard. And I'm a bit lazy lately.
All links except for Baki the Grappler Comedians seems to be working fine. The HotFile host itself has shut down. A re-upload to Mediafire would be greatly appreciated.
