Video Subbing [REQUEST]: Murakami Shoji's Green Beret Class on GAKI NO TSUKAI (2007.01.21)

Heya,

Here's the second installment of Murakami Shoji's Classroom Series from the show Gaki no Tsukai Ya Arahende. It was timed and partially subbed by al4bandi so please thank him too.

This time it's a class to become a Green Beret. The Green Beret were originally the British army commando's during World War II who wore green berets as a signal of their position. Some armies still have their commandos wear green berets such as France and Australia.

If you saw the ninja class version of this series then you can expect much of the same.

NISHIKAWA HELEN
Is the wife of highly revered veteran comedian, Nishikawa Kiyoshi. She is hald Japanese, half American and was a popular actress working for Yoshimoto Kogyo. She married her husband while he was still an unknown entertainer, although he would go on to become one of the most successful manzai and tv comedians during the 1970's and 80's along with his partner Yokoyama Kiyoshi (group name Yasushi Kiyoshi). Here's a picture of them back when they were young.

SWEETS AND WHIP
The "Sweets and the Whip" is the Japanese equivalent of "Carrot and the stick". If you don't know what that means, look at this picture:

You encourage the donkey (or person) to move forward as they try to eat the carrot. If they still don't move then you smack them on the bum with a stick. The "Sweets and whip" version has the same principles as this.
